Upon arrival at the airport in Lusaka, you will meet our representative who will transfer to your hotel as stated in your tour itinerary on bed and breakfast plan.
Begin your Zambia overland tour with a 5-hour game drive at Kafue Park. Travel along with the heart of the banks of the Kafue River enjoying Zambia breathtaking landscapes and natural landmarks where we will make a few stops for you to enjoy the best of Zambia. We will finally check you-in at the Mukambi lodge where you will overnight comfortably. The lodge has four large viewing decks to observe the animals. At your observation, be served with drinks and meals. The place is not cold as there is a big campfire on the riverside and fireplace in the lounge. Enjoy your luxurious accommodation in Zambia.
After breakfast, we will travel to Busanga Plains. You will encounter herds of wildlife viewing drive heading to the North of Kafue. Arrive at the Busanga plains and check-in at the Camp. The afternoon will be at leisure to relax and enjoy the actual remoteness of this part of Zambia.
The full-morning will be devoted to wildlife viewing and natural scenery unique to these ethereal widespread plains of Busanga. Noon will be at leisure to reflect and contemplate the wilderness of these African remote landscapes. Dinner and accommodation will be at Busanga Plains Camp.
After breakfast, we will travel to Mongu. In and around Mongu, you will devote a six-hour drive to reach your destination traveling through some of the most rewarding African scenery. Arrive in time and check at the hotel; crossroads Hotel for accommodation. Relax at the hotel to refresh your body and mind for the onward journey tomorrow or engage in some of the optional activities proposed by your tour leader.
Wake up early morning to travel to Liuwa Plains National park exploring the best of Zambia wilderness. Enjoy your ride on a pontoon and drive northwest to about 2.5 hours to reach the accessible campsite Katoyana. A camp will be set for you to relax and have something for lunch. Your afternoon will be devoted to a wildlife game drive returning in the evening to the camp for dinner and overnight accommodation. Another exciting day exploring the best of Zambia expedition.
Today, we will head down to the Liuwa Plains driving south to reach Kwale Campsite. Set up camps and prepare something for lunch before going to explore more of the mesmerizing wildlife encounters unique to these remote plains of Liuwa. The area is well known for its birdlife sanctuaries and the wondering the notorious and hyena. Return to camp for dinner and other accommodation.
Rise up for another day adventure day traveling south back to Mongu. Today we will cross the river to explore the marvelous Sioma falls. Here we will camp for the night. Our crew will cook a great dinner for you.
After breakfast, we will make a short visit to Sioma falls before hitting the road to Livingstone and Victoria Falls. Depending on arrival time you will have a visit at the fall and many optional activities to choose from for your remaining afternoon. Dinner and overnight in Chalets at Zambezi Waterfront Lodge.
You will be offered a short city tour with your guide. Later we will transfer you to Livingstone Airport to catch your flight back home with a memorable Zambia experience to treasure for a lifetime.
