Dear Hamid -

I wanted to send along a short note to let you know how much I enjoyed the Morocco trip with Yuval Ron.

This was a very special, one of a kind trip – the musical groups you arranged for us to meet were exceptional - and covered the gambit of Moroccan musical genres.  I know this took a lot of special attention and care to make happen – and I just wanted to say how much I appreciated all the extra work this trip must have taken.  Your efforts – as well as Jawad and Hamid – to make all these special events happen – were extraordinary.  

My Oud teacher here in Portland said before I left that I would never get to see some of these groups, as they were too remote and publicity shy.  He lived and studied Oud in Morocco for several years and was very surprised when I returned to Portland with the CDs and photos to prove we had indeed seen and heard them!  :=)

This was one of the most memorable trips I have ever taken – and I look forward to returning to Morocco next year with my family.  I fell in love with the country and the people and can’t wait to return!

Thanks again to you – and all the Sarah Tours staff – for making this happen.

PS – I drove with your lovely daughter in the van from Fes to Casablanca.  We had a great chat – she is very impressive for someone so young.  You should be rightly proud of her – she is smart, charming and a delight to be with.  And she is very proud of her Dad  :=)
