The areas of Morocco our operation covers are
quite distinct; spaning from the lofty crags and screes of
the Toubkal, to the cedar forests of Michlefen, and plunging
gorges and karsts of the Mgoun valley. Explore the bizarre
rock formation, the pristine oasis of the Jbel Sehro,
the enchanting groves of almonds, saffron crocus, and cliff
dwellings to the picturesque spread of plateaus, blooming
wadis, oases and palm groves, voluptuous sand dunes, and
nomadic tents. Nestled among the high peaks of the Atlas, you
will find cultures and vistas untouched by the modernity.

Morocco should spring to mind when one thinks of high
mountains. In fact it offers some of the most impressive
mountain and desert treks in the world. More importantly,
its population, Berber and Moorish, ensure a truly exotic
experience and a thought-provoking insight into an ancient
culture remarkably different from your own.
The dwellers of the Atlas Mountains and the Sahara desert
have long held the fascination of ethnologists as an example
of an unchanged mountain race. Your contact with them as your
delightful trek staff is one of the charming aspects of
walking in this little known region. All our treks in Morocco
are conducted by indigenous Berber guides.
